Candy Factory film, ALUMBRONES opens at New York City’s Quad Cinema this coming Friday September 12th for a week long run through September 18th.
Opening night special guests include Peter Kornbluh of the National Security Archives and The Nation Magazine AND Sandra Levinson, Director of Center for Cuban Studies. They are joining a panel after the screening to discuss Cuban art, politics and the launch of Peter’s new book “Back Channel to Cuba,” available October 1st.
Additionally, one of the film’s featured artists, Darian Rodriguez, will be in attendance at the 7:30 screenings on September 12, 13 and 14. On those dates his work will be on display at the space, and available for purchase.
